In 2021, New Zealand had the lowest COVID vaccination rate in the OECD. But with Delta on our doorstep, we needed to double vaccinate 90% of the population, fast. The hitch? Not only were Kiwis slow to roll up their sleeves, they weren’t even getting a lollipop at the end. Teaming up with The 90% Project, we encouraged New Zealanders to stick it to Covid by offering them a post-jab lollipop — KFC style. All people needed to do was show their vaccination card for their free Lolli-Popcorn Chicken snack box. Suck on that, Covid.
